NICOLE REYES:

Nicole Reyes was born & raised in Lockhart Texas. From a very young age singing was her passion. At the age of 8, after visiting Plaza Garibaldi in Mexico City, she fell in love with Mariachi music. She learned to play the violin, and began performing with several Mariachi groups including some all-female groups.

Nicole has competed in many vocal competitions including the Mariachi Vargas Extravaganza Vocal Competition. She was named as Best Overall Vocalist at Disney World Orlando Music Fest and has performed with Jose Hernandez’s Mariachi Sol De Mexico at the Orange County Fair in Costa Mesa California. Her accolades include being recognized as one of the top three Mariachi Vocalists in the nation.

Nicole has been very fortunate to work with world renown instructors, not limited to Mariachi music. Throughout the years she has continued to grow her knowledge of voice in many different genres. In doing so, she has not only bettered herself but has also been able to pass on this knowledge and love of music to her students. She has been able to help several aspiring vocal students who wish to learn and improve, not only their vocal skills, but also their stage presence and confidence. At this time Nicole continues to perform at several events throughout the southern U.S.

Nicole is very excited to begin working with DCU/UPAP and looks forward to working with you all!
