DCU FEES, RULES and POLICIES Regarding FEES
 

 

REGISTRATION:

This fee is due annually for every student that is registered for classes at The DCU. It goes towards their/your insurance in the facility and towards all administrative costs. This fee is due upon registering. REGISTRATION FEES are NON-REFUNDABLE.


REGISTRATION FEES: DUE WHEN REGISTERING AT DCU or UPAP
Recreational Annual Registration: $35 per child NON-REFUNDABLE
$60 for two This payment goes towards
$75 for 3 or more a studentís insurance in the
Facility, as well as all


COMPETITIVE REGISTRATION: $75 (Troupe A/B & Stars) administrative costs.

PreCompetitive Registration: $50 (Peewee, Mini, Hot Shots and Mites)

Please Note: Students in DCU and UPAP pay an additional $15 Reg Fee

 

ANNUAL TUITION: Tuition is an ANNUAL fee based on the total number of classes in the DCU calendar year (September-May), NOT IN THE MONTH.
It can be paid in FULL (5% discount) or it can be paid in EQUAL INSTALLMENTS.


The 1st Installment is due at the time of registration. REMAINING INSTALLMENTS ARE DUE on the FIRST OF EVERY MONTH.
 

Installments must be received by the 8th of the month to avoid additional billing.


ANY PAYMENT RECEIVED AFTER THE 8th OF THE MONTH IS AN ADDITIONAL $15.00.

 

POST DATED CHECKS and BACK DATED CHECKS delivered by mail or in person to The DCU Office AFTER the 8th ARE LATE and MUST include the additional $15.00 LATE FEE.


RETURNED CHECKSÖA Fee of $35 is charged for ALL returned checks. After Notification, if there is further disregard for payment, DCU will file with the Attorney Generalís Office. Payments must be made in CASH to cover the amount of the check returned and the return fee.
 

Any client that has two checks returned will be on a CASH ONLY basis form this point forward.
 

 

PERFORMANCE FEES: Performance fees (NON-REFUNDABLE) are due by OCTOBER 1st and go towards the cost of the ANNUAL PRODUCTIONS. (Please see the Performance Fee Information in our Brochure or posted in the Office) This fee may be included in the SAME check as your Installment. Payments received AFTER OCTOBER 1st are LATE ($15 Late Fee)

 

 

COSTUME DEPOSITS:

DANCE: Costume deposit (NON-REFUNDABLE) is due by NOVEMBER 1st. This deposit is per child.
 

A $40 Deposit is due for students performing 1 dance in the show; Broadway Babies and Hip Hop only.
 

A $65 Deposit is due for students performing 2 dances in the show; Dance Stars I, II and III and Boys Tap/Hip Hop
 

A $75 Deposit is due for students performing 3 or more dances in the show.
 

GYMNASTICS: A $40 (NON-REFUNDABLE) COSTUME DEPOSIT is due by NOVEMBER 15th. (ODD YEARS) This deposit is PER CHILD.
 

ALL COSTUME DEPOSITS ARE PAYABLE TO DCU COSTUME on a SEPARATE CHECK only
 

COSTUME BALANCES: Dance is due by FEBRUARY 15th and Gymnastics is due by MARCH 15th (ODD YEARS)

 

 

NOTE:

Costumes are ordered by November. If your child is still enrolled in a class on October 15th, and the office has not been notified in writing of any upcoming change in enrollment for your child. A costume will be ordered for your child, and you will be responsible for the total cost of the costume.
 

Dropping procedures - A DROP SLIP MUST BE PICKED UP IN THE DCU OFFICE; FILLED OUT, SIGNED and RETURNED BEFORE THE FIRST OF THE UPCOMING MONTH TO DISCONTINUE BILLING.
